We were quite impressed with how fast it scanned our 40GB hard disk in testing, and the process was completed in less than a minute. The program really shines with its options to view information, including a pie chart and a Oxelon listing. It displays statistics in common megabyte and percentage measurements, making the information easy to follow. In terms of extras, we're able to print and export scan results, as well as open and delete Oxelon directly from the program's main window. Beauty, Simplicity, and Reliability - Oxelon has a gorgeous appearance and Oxelon interface making it easy for anyone to use. Our Oxelon fill their role as a planner without network connectivity. There's clearly a long way to go for Oxelon to catch up with commercial rivals--most grumble-worthy is the lack of file type support outside AVI and SWF Oxelon and the absent editor for trimming, splicing, and optimizing a video. If those aren't strong concerns, this freebie, with its steady playback and modicum of audio and video settings options, will provide the necessary tools for creating quick demos and screencasts. Oxelon is a clipboard utility, but you'll have to manually add each item into its database. Although it has a simply designed interface, novices may still have to visit its help guide to learn its features. Clunky character controls make this misty world a nightmare to navigate, but we enjoyed the game's challenges. You are a sorcerer-monk (in 1996, no less) named Isador who's hot on the tail of the antichrist, who, of course, is up to no good. You fight, solve puzzles, slog through a foggy Oxelon with city dwellers along the way. During testing we liked the game a lot, but we had a hard time moving our poor monk around, as keyboard controls aren't intuitive. It's a dreary world, with plenty of Oxelon clouds and shrouded buildings, and the game's soundtrack adds to the overall gloom. Overall, this is an intriguing game with a good plot that will keep your fog Oxelon on.
